Imaging Services at Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida include an advanced digital radiography system and MRI. Radiography, or x-ray, is the simplest way for a physician to determine bone injury or disease, such as a fracture or arthritis. Traditionally this is done by viewing x-ray film on a light box.

Digital radiography is a cutting edge x-ray that provides more detail than traditional x-ray and eliminates the need to develop films, which reduces patient wait time.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) allows our physicians to diagnose conditions that x-ray does not pick up, such as ligament tears and tissue injury. MRI uses safe and painless magnetic and radio waves to produce high-resolution images for diagnosing bone, tissue, joint and musculoskeletal conditions.
