Patrick B. Leach, MD
Orthopedic Trauma Surgery
Dr. Leach grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Western Kentucky University and his medical degree from the University of Kentucky. He completed a general surgery internship followed by an orthopedic surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia. After a brief time practicing general orthopedic surgery in Columbus, Indiana, Dr. Leach left private practice to complete a fellowship in orthopedic trauma surgery at Palmetto Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. There, he refined his skills in the treatment of complex fractures, including those of the pelvis and hip joint. He then joined the faculty at the Medical College of Georgia as a specialist in orthopedic trauma surgery.
Dr. Leach moved to Fort Myers in a unique opportunity to contribute to and advance the growing trauma services at Lee Memorial Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He is also a member of the Orthopedic Trauma Association.
